The hut is located in a picturesque valley close to the bush and a river. It is 8.75km walk to the hut, taking around 5 hours. It is easy to moderate in difficulty. There are 26 beds available in this hut. It is available to the public as well so get in quick and secure your spot at Tōtara Flats before the hut fills up.
